Memories of one year ago...

A home on one of Venice's many "islands"...

the island of Murano where they blow amazingly beautiful glass creations

Relaxing at a cafe for cappuccino...eating/drinking on the run is unheard of in Italy!

Everyone takes their time to enjoy their food.

Walking through the streets of Venice

Flowers everywhere...in every window

Dinner by the water as the sun set

How Good It Is To Thank the Lord...

Things that make me happy tonight:

*The awesome reality that there is a baby growing inside me!

*Listening through my window at our neighborhood bagpiper

(yes, it's the coolest thing)

*A dear husband who takes such good loving care of me

*A Savior who paid for my sins on the cross

*The awesome privilege of coming to God in prayer and knowing He hears

"How good it is to thank the Lord, and praise to thee, Most High, accord,

To show thy love with morning light, and tell thy faithfulness each night;

Yea, good it is thy praise to sing, and all our sweetest music bring." Hymn 535

A Shout of Joy...

"Weeping may last for the night,

But a shout of joy comes in the morning."

With a heart overflowing with gratitude towards God,

I can tell you that God is blessing my husband and I

with a little one in the womb.

We have had two peeks at our precious one through ultrasound,

and so far things are going well.

My being sick (happily sick) will explain my absense from this blog!

Please don't give up on me.

Hopefully soon I will be able to start taking pictures again.

Until then, please praise God with us for the hope

that at the end of this year, we will hold a baby in our arms.
